Psychology is the subject taught at general level at the UG level. It is started in 1973. Objectives of the Course: To introduce the basic concept of Psychological processes . 2.To enable the students to understand and appreciate individual behaviours. 3.To enable the students to understand the functioning of dyods, groups and organization. 4.To famlarise the unique features of the Indian social cultural context. 5. To interpretet the social problems in terms of various social psychological theories. 6.To emphasise applied psychology in day to day activities and behaviour. 7.To made the students aware of psychological theories and their practical analysis and to introduce the various psychological techniques and skill and their implications.
