Warm Greetings to one and all
At the very outset, I wish to extend my warm welcome to you into the family of Vidya Vikas Mandal, Sakri, myself representing Sitaram Govind Patil Arts, Science and Commerce College, Sakri (Dist-Dhule). It would indeed give us immense pleasure to have you here with us so that we can travel with right people at right direction to achieve our goals.
I would like to pen down a few words about my college. Our College was established in 1971. The College is affiliated to the Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon (M.S.).The College is grant-in-aid and recognized 2(f) and 12(B) by the University Grants Commission (UGC). As an important rural educational centre, presently the college offers 13 UG Program, 01 PG Program and 02 Research Programs. It caters to the educational needs of students dwelling in rural areas around Sakri tehsil.
The teachers use learner-centric teaching–learning methods to cater to the diversity in the aptitudes, intelligence, learning styles and interests of the students. They use non-traditional, innovative teaching methods and tools in ICT.
At present education is undergoing a sea change and it is quite understandable that it becomes difficult to make decisions about which course to choose. So our college is intensely engaged with career counseling cell promoting 'Earn and Learn' project to provide employment opportunity to our college students.
We are taking every step to strengthen our supremacy in academic and research programmers, infrastructure, placements, extension co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
It is really very proud for all of us that the management, teaching as well as non-teaching staff, stakeholders and students are rendering their wholehearted support and co-operation to make the college the centre of educational Excellence.
Our college follows an open-door policy and we like to interact regularly with Parents during Parents teachers meetings, I would like to meet you personally, if you have any queries or any problem. Never worry about asking, don’t hesitate, if you are in need.
